Japanese Sales Chart: Call of Duty Falls Out of First, Super Mario Odyssey Regains Top Spot

After being dethroned last week, Super Mario Odyssey has once again regained its spot on the top of the Japanese sales charts. Call of Duty: WWII, last weeks top seller, was bumped down to second place while still boasting a fairly impressive amount of sales.

As far as hardware goes, the Nintendo Switch once again managed to top the charts by a ridiculously large margin. It outsold the second best selling console (the PlayStation 4) by more than 50,000 units.

For new titles, there were a couple that managed to slip into the top 20. Need for Speed: Payback, Sonic Forces, Occultic;Nine, and DJMAX Respect all sold well enough to be included in this week’s best selling conversation, though none of them sold incredibly well, with Sonic Forces managing just over 10,000 units sold between two platforms.

According to Media Create, here’s the 20 best-selling retail games (new releases are bolded), along with how each system sold in Japan from November 6 to November 12, 2017:
