The Latest Update for Final Fantasy XII Adds the Sky Pirate’s Den Back Into the Game

Square Enix has announced that the latest update to Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is now available, and includes the achievement system from the original game, finally bringing the Sky Pirate’s Den into the re-release of the game.

For those unaware, the Sky Pirate’s Den allows players to access a brand new room that will slowly fill up with new sprites as you reach various benchmarks throughout the game. Attacking enemies a set number of times, spending a certain amount of money, or doing other mundane tasks will grant you various rewards. This option was previously left out when the game releases this summer, when the game launched with just the normal set of PSN trophies attached to it.

Other than that, the 1.04 update doesn’t seem to add any other content, but Square Enix has also released a new free PS4 theme called Eruyt Village for players to download. It’s a dynamic theme that also plays music as you navigate through the menus.
