PSX 2017: Donut County Brings its Weirdness to PS4 in 2018

IGF finalist Donut County is coming to PlayStation 4. The quirky independent title received a spotlight trailer at the PlayStation Experience 2017. The video, called the “Updog Gameplay Trailer,” was a great look at the sense of humor the game will show. Plus, who doesn’t enjoy a good “updog” joke, even in the year 2017.

In the game, players will play as a raccoon named BK. The character uses a special device that allows him to create remote-controlled holes that’ll be used to steal the trash from others. Unfortunately for him, he winds up falling into one of those holes (oops!). According to the official description, BK must now “answer to his best friend Mira and the residents of Donut County who are now stuck 999 feet below their homes.”

Here’s the official description for Donut County:

You play as a raccoon named BK, a new hire at a startup that uses remote-controlled holes to steal people’s trash – along with everything else. When BK falls into a hole himself, he must answer to his best friend Mira and the residents of Donut County who are now stuck 999 feet below their homes.

Donut County is set to release in 2018 for PlayStation 4.
