Second Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack Will Feature New Character

Fans of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are in for a treat today, as Bandai Namco has announced that a brand new character named Fu will be joining the world of Xenoverse 2 when the Extra Pack 2 contents are released in February. Other than his name, little is known about the character other than that he carries a ninja sword for swift attacks and is constantly smiling.

According to Bandai Namco, additional story mode content will also be part of the Extra Pack 2 release, and players will be able to embark on their own Time Patrol missions with their Master to allow for crazier adventures. The company also announced that players will now be able to customize Dragon Ball characters in Xenoverse 2, including their attacks and costume colors.

For those unaware, the Extra Pack 2 content is the second in a wave of downloadable content that the game has seen, with the Extra Pack 1 already releasing:

The new Extra Pack 1 is a paid piece of downloadable content for the game, though no pricing information was revealed at the time of the announcement. The pack includes 4 new playable characters, a new instructor, 5 new quests, and much more, including:

  • 4 playable characters: Tapion, Android 13, Dabura and Buu (Gohan absorbed)
  • Zamasu as an instructor
  • 5 new parallel quests
  • 13 new skills
  • 4 new costumes
  • 2 titles
  • 8 Super Souls

In addition to the Extra Pack, the free downloadable content that includes the Hero Colosseum mode is also available, and brings the figurine battling genre to the world of Xenoverse 2:

  • New Hero Colosseum mode – a new battlefield where players can use their digital figurines in this strategic board game. As all the characters, each figurine has different rarities and skills
  • New expert mission featuring Android 13, Buu (Gohan absorbed), Dabura and Zamasu

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now.
