Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Gets 37-Minute Gameplay Walkthrough Video

Following a gameplay reveal on Twitch, which showed off over an hour of gameplay, CD Projekt RED has released a lengthy walkthrough for Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. The video, narrated by Community Manager Paweł Burza, runs thirty-seven minutes long and debuts content near the game’s beginning.

Watch the full gameplay walkthrough in the video below:

As previously seen, this is far more than a Gwent spinoff; Thronebreaker has taken on a life of its own. Isometric gameplay, stunning art, voice acting, and a story that seems to rival CD Projekt’s past work all fit together well here. Should this prove a successful venture, the studio has already said The Witcher Tales could expand into something more.

CD Projekt RED provided the following synopsis for Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales in the video description:

Thronebreaker is a single player role-playing game set in the world of The Witcher that combines narrative-driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics. Crafted by the developers responsible for some of the most iconic moments in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game spins a truly regal tale of Meve, a war-veteran queen of two Northern Realms — Lyria and Rivia. Facing an imminent Nilfgaardian invasion, Meve is forced to once again enter the warpath, and set out on a dark journey of destruction and revenge.

PC players can purchase Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales on October 23, 2018. Console gamers have a slightly longer wait, as Thronebreaker launches on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 4, 2018.
