More Than 30 Partners Confirmed for Summer Game Fest, Including PlayStation

Geoff Keighley has revealed more than 30 companies that will be partners for Summer Game Fest 2022, including the usual suspects like PlayStation and Xbox. There are also likely to be some surprises involved including the world premiere announcement of the first game from Frost Giant Studios.

Game publishers we can expect to see at Summer Game Fest 2022

More than 30 game developers and publishers were revealed as partners for this year’s Summer Game Fest event. PlayStation is down as one of the first partners to be revealed, something that shouldn’t be too much of a surprise after it was revealed this week’s State of Play show is part of Summer Game Fest. Xbox is also listed as a partner, and the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase is due to take place on June 12, a mere three days after the Game Fest show. The full partner list is:

  • Activision
  • Atlus
  • Bandai Namco
  • Bloober Team
  • Capcom
  • Coffee Stain
  • Deep Silver
  • Devolver Digital
  • Digital Extremes

Keighley also said more are to be announced, which could mean we still see names like Nintendo, Ubisoft, or more of the Embracer Group companies also make an appearance during the event. Summer Game Fest can be watched at 11 AM PT on June 9 and will definitely include the world premiere announcement of Frost Giant Studios’ first game, although as a PC real-time strategy game it will be of limited interest to most PSLS readers.

In other news, Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed has gotten a release date and special edition, as well as a pre-order bonus multiplayer spin-off game that’s available now. Elsewhere, eFootball 2022’s Master League mode will be paid DLC and won’t be here until 2023.
