Following years and years of rumors, it’s finally time for the Silent Hill Transmission showcase. The wait for this one has been painfully long, and if information scraped from YouTube is any indication, today’s event most likely isn’t a Konami troll where we end up getting a new skateboard, apparel, or a Pachinko machine like in years past. While we can’t rule any of these things out (forgive us for being a little skeptical), all signs point towards new game announcements, possibly PlayStation console exclusives. Silent Hill Transmission showcase livestream and what to expect
It looks like the rumored Bloober Team remake of Silent Hill 2 is part of the lineup today along with something called Silent Hill: Ascension. It’s unclear if this is a new game or something else. Actor Elijah Wood appeared to be teasing something on Twitter recently but that’s likely to do with Christophe Gans-led Return to Silent Hill movie project. In addition to this, something called Silent Hill: A Short Message was recently rated in Korea. This could be the leaked playable teaser or whatever the rumored Project Sakura is.
