PS Store DIscount Code

PS Store Discount Code Could Be in Your Inbox Today

PlayStation has been sending out a PS Store discount code to select users via email and the PS App. The 10% off coupon code that comes with the message sent today, February 1, can be used on any single checkout purchase on the PS Store. And luckily, the code doesn’t expire until the end of February, so you have got about a month to wait for more deals (like the Critics Choice Promotion) before using it.

Using the PS Store discount code on pre-orders may be tricky

According to users on the PS5 Reddit replying to a report by Push Square, users have received both an email and the coupon in their inbox, via the email address tied to their PlayStation account or the PS App inbox itself. One user reports that the code was sent to the Promotions tab of their inbox, which the person normally skips over, so we recommend checking that too.

The 10% off coupon can apparently be applied to the whole cart except for subscriptions, and it can be combined with other sales on the PS Store like the current Games Under $20 deal that ends today.

Using the code on pre-orders, like for Hogwarts Legacy, might be tricky since pre-orders don’t go into the cart, but it may be possible on PS5 by selecting the three dots in the checkout screen and inputting the code there.

From other comments in the Reddit thread, it would seem that the codes are being sent to a select group of people in the UK and Europe. Those in the US have checked and so far there are no codes in their inboxes, though it’s still early in the day.
