Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku recently made changes to the listing for the Yakuza Complete Series bundle, which includes seven beloved games starring the Dragon of Dojima, Kazuma Kiryu. Most notably, it now includes the recently released Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut instead of the original PS4 version.
New Yakuza Complete Series listing adds new game
The new Yakuza Complete Series listing on the PlayStation Store includes the entire Kiryu saga in one bundle. Priced at $129.99, PS4 and PS5 players can play through the critically acclaimed action-adventure games. It should be noted that Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is only available on PS5, so PS4 players looking to grab this bundle will be out of luck.
There are a few caveats for players looking to continue their saves from the PS4 to the PS5 versions. Specifically, PS4 players who want to continue their playthrough on the PS5 versions of Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will not be able to do so.
Here is a description of the package, as well as a trailer, giving players an idea of what they expect from Kiryu’s long and epic tale:
“Get ready for an action-packed, beat em’ up adventure across Japan. Within all games of this complete collection, you’ll play as Kazuma Kiryu, a legendary Yakuza known as the ‘Dragon of Dojima’ as he fights to protect those he loves.”
Here are all the games included in the new listing of Yakuza Complete Series:
- Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut (PS5)
- Yakuza Kiwami (PS4 & PS5)
- Yakuza Kiwami 2 (PS4 & PS5)
- Yakuza 3 Remastered (PS4)
- Yakuza 4 Remastered (PS4)
- Yakuza 5 Remastered (PS4)
- Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4)
We reported about Yakuza 0 being delisted from the PS Store late last month. PS4 players looking forward to playing Yakuza 0 will now have to play the Director’s Cut, which is currently $49.99. Previous owners of the game will still be able to play the game.
