We may be inching closer to a new year, but that doesn’t mean Sony is done bringing solid deals to some of the best PS5 and PS4 games, courtesy of the PlayStation Store‘s Holiday Sale. That includes this critically acclaimed first-person shooter, which brought Hell on Earth when it was originally released in 2020.

Doom Eternal is 75% off on the PS Store

Developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks, Doom Eternal is currently 75% off on the PS Store. That brings its usual price of $69.99 down to just $17.49. PS4 and PS5 players who want to take advantage of this deal will want to act fast. The offer ends on January 8, 2026, at 2:59 a.m. ET.

Here is a trailer and description, giving PS4 and PS5 players a glimpse of what they can expect from Doom Eternal:

“Hell’s armies have invaded Earth. Become the Slayer in an epic single-player campaign to conquer demons across dimensions and stop the final destruction of humanity. The only thing they fear… is you. Experience the ultimate combination of speed and power in DOOM Eternal – the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.”

It should be noted that this is for the Deluxe Edition of Doom Eternal, which includes the Year One Pass for the game. The big highlights of the pass are the two campaign expansions, The Ancient Gods – Part One and Part Two.

When Doom Eternal was originally released in 2020, it was met with great review scores. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 88 across 61 critic reviews. In our review, we gave it a 10 out of 10.

“DOOM Eternal is simply a really good game. It provides players with a brutal and extreme power fantasy while also presenting a challenge, a tightrope act of balancing that few games can ever accomplish with a masterful hand.”
