It seems an unannounced Square Enix PS5 game has possibly leaked thanks to Pan European Game Information (PEGI), the European video game content rating system. A new listing reveals that a new entry in the fan-favorite adventure game franchise Life is Strange is on the way.
New Life is Strange game has possibly leaked
In a listing on the PEGI website (H/T ResetEra) that was seemingly published in March 2025, the next game in Square Enix’s long-running adventure game series will be Life is Strange: Reunion. As the name suggests, this new entry will see the series’ protagonists Max Caulfield and Chloe Price reunite for another adventure. As listed on the listing, it will come to PS5.
Here is the description of Life is Strange: Reunion from the PEGI website:
“Chloe Price was Max Caulfield’s partner in time… Losing her is Max’s greatest regret. Now Chloe has come to Caledon University. Haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, Chloe needs Max’s help. But Max is already in crisis: in three days, a deadly inferno will destroy the campus.”
While the game has yet to be formally revealed by Square Enix, a PEGI listing all but confirms the existence of Life is Strange: Reunion. It is just a matter of time until we see Max’s next adventure revealed.
So, where can fans expect to see Life is Strange: Reunion? As of now, it is unclear. The year has just begun, so there aren’t many shows and showcases known outside of the usual suspects, like Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards. However, the New Game Plus showcase premieres tomorrow, January 8, and previous Life is Strange developer Don’t Nod retweeted a post regarding the showcase. So, we may see this new entry as soon as tomorrow.
The last entry in the series was Life is Strange: Double Exposure, which saw the return of Max Caulfield. In a review at our sister site ComingSoon, it was given a 7 out of 10.
