PS5, PS4 players have a few more months to enjoy a popular Electronic Arts game as the publisher is shutting it down. In what comes as no surprise, Madden NFL 23 is the next annual sports game scheduled to go offline this year. The title is already delisted on the PS Store.

Madden NFL 23 will go offline on all platforms on July 13, 2026. The game was removed from EA Play in February 2025.
Players have until July to tackle Madden NFL 23’s multiplayer trophies. However, there are reports that some of the trophies are unobtainable, and given the game’s age, we highly doubt EA will fix anything at this point.
According to players on PSNProfiles, Play Now Live is busted, which makes the Platinum trophy unobtainable.
Still, if you want to pop the maximum amount of trophies that you can, now is a good time to do so.
Despite attracting millions of players every year, EA’s sports games are short-lived. Since the games are released annually, the publisher shuts servers down every few years. Unfortunately, many of these games suffer from broken trophies that usually aren’t fixed.
