A PS5 remake of one of the most classic RPGs of all time is officially out today, allowing fans to jump into the newly revamped classic.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is out now for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game has already been received well critically. On OpenCritic, a review aggregating platform, the game currently holds an 85 average rating, with 94% of the critics recommending the game.
The game retails for $59.99, and brings a classic from the PlayStation 1 era to the modern day. The new game featured a reimagined look at the game, with a diorama art style featuring character designs from the legendary Akira Toriyama. The game’s battle system has also undergone some major changes, with new parks, battle speed adjustments, and more available in the game.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is the latest Dragon Quest game to be reimagined. The first three games have been remade, with the latest release prior to this being 2025’s Dragon Quest I & II Reimagined.
