Sengoku BASARA 4 Sumeragi being delisted from PS Store

Capcom Action Game Being Delisted From PS Store, Fans Upset

A Capcom action game from a fan-favorite series is being delisted from the PS Store soon, and players aren’t thrilled. For years, fans in the West have been holding out hope for Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi, but its PS3 version’s delisting doesn’t look like a positive development.

Why Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi fans are unhappy over the game being delisted from PS Store

For the uninitiated, Sengoku Basara is a hack-and-slash action series that got Western releases once upon a time, but it enjoyed more popularity in Japan and Asia. However, the series does have a dedicated following outside Asia, and fans have been begging for a Western port of Sengoku Basara 4.

Unfortunately, however, the only PS4 version of the game never made it out of Japan and Asia despite fan requests, and it looks like Capcom has no plans to release another main entry, let alone port any existing releases over to the West.

Over on X, the game’s official account tweeted that Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi’s PS3 version will be pulled from the PS Store on February 13. Fans criticized the decision to limit the series and are demanding PC and Switch ports, at the very least.

At the moment, there are no plans to delist the PS4 version, but we advise fans to get a hold of a physical copy if they want to play the game.
