The highly anticipated Ghost of Yotei PS5 update is here, bringing with it the massive Legends DLC for free. Those who are planning to jump into the co-op mode today should probably start the download now, as it’s pretty chunky.
Ghost of Yotei: Legends update weighs a whopping 27 GB
Weighing around 27 GB (size may vary by region due to localization), the Legends mode brings the following:
- Four classes
- Multiple difficulty modes
- Unique cosmetics
- Two and four player online co-op
In Legends, players face the demonic Yotei Six.
“Team up with friends online in Ghost of Yotei: Legends to challenge supernatural versions of the Yotei Six in this free update,” the patch details read. “In Survival mode, play with up to three other players against enemies on one of four maps. Partner with another player to tackle a series of 12 missions in Story mode. Assault a Yotei Six stronghold in Incursion mode. In April’s Raid release, take on the Dragon and Lord Saito.”
As outlined by Sony, the four fully armed classes include:
- Samurai: wields the ōdachi and has access to the widest range of weapon types.
- The Archer: can use the yari (spear) and carry an additional ranged weapon.
- The Mercenary: has access to dual katana with a variety of utility-focused abilities.
- The Shinobi: can use the kusarigama, as well as a suite of stealth-focused skills.
