Upcoming Square Enix PS5 RPG Looks Intriguing, Coming Soon

In case you missed it, a gorgeous Square Enix action RPG is making its way to PS5 soon, and the more we hear about it, the more it intrigues us. Brought to us by the developers of Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales was announced in July 2025 and will release this June.

PS5 RPG The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales launching in June 2026

The Adventures of Elliot will launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on June 18. Its standard edition costs $59.99, and the digital deluxe edition costs $69.99.

“In a corner of a continent overrun with beast tribes, the Kingdom of Huther is humanity’s sole bastion, kept safe by a magic barrier,” an official overview reads. “After the discovery of heretofore unknown ruins, the adventurer Elliot and his fairy sidekick Faie brave the dangers outside the kingdom on a journey spanning not only the continent, but its thousand-year history.”

In new information released today (via Gematsu), Square Enix says that Elliot and Faie have to travel through different time periods to lift the curse on Princess Heuria of Huther.

The present day is called the Age of Safekeeping, the Dark Ages are called the Age of Reconstruction, the Golden Age is the Age of Magic, and then the Age of Budding is the birth of civilization.

Elliot will essentially be traveling across thousands of years.

“Further into the past from Elliot’s home, Age of Safekeeping is the Age of Reconstruction,” says Square Enix. “Amidst the ruins of a more prosperous time, humanity’s remnants live on the brink of extinction. Though most of the villagers have given in to despair, one young man with a glimmer of hope in his heart looks to the future.”
