Originally released in 2019 on PS4, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an online-only action role-playing game. The game is a sequel to 2016’s Tom Clancy’s The Division, and takes place in a near-future Washington, D.C., following the release of a genetically engineered virus. The game features traditional third-person shooter gameplay, but also has MMO and RPG qualities, allowing players to level up and find gear by doing missions.
The game has saw a resurgence of sorts in recent years following a variety of new content coming out. Most recently, the game released its Battle for Brooklyn DLC. A third entry was confirmed to be in development in 2023, although it’s unclear when we can expect to see any of that.
