IO Interactive’s upcoming 007 game, 007 First Light, is out next month and getting an absolutely gorgeous DualSense controller to go with it.
When does the new 007 DualSense Controller come out?
Revealed on the official PS Blog, PlayStation has shown off the 007 First Light Limited Edition DualSense controller. The new controller features a golden sheen and James Bond’s iconic codename and logo on the touchpad of the controller.
The 007 First Light Limited Edition DualSense controller will be available in limited quantities beginning on April 17, 2026, when pre-orders begin on the PlayStation Direct website as well as at other retailers. The controller will retail for $84.99.
007 First Light is currently set to release on May 27, 2026, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game is in development but has been delayed to sometime later in the year.
The game is based on the James Bond franchise and will tell an original story inspired by the novels and short stories by Ian Fleming. The game will follow the origins of James Bond as he not only embarks on one of his first missions, but becomes a legendary spy.
First Light is being developed by IO Interactive, the studio behind the hit Hitman franchise and the Kane and Lynch series.
