One of Xbox’s most popular games that has crossed over to the PlayStation 5 is getting a major update, one that fans have been asking about for a while.
What popular Xbox game on PS5 has a brand new update?
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, which released on PlayStation 5 late last year, is finally getting a long-awaited PS VR2 update. The news has long been rumored and asks for by fans, but was finally confirmed by the game on social media. In a new post, the game’s X account confirmed that the PS VR2 update for the game is out now.
A new trailer for the game’s PS VR2 support was also released, showcasing some of the first-person views players can see in the game. Check it out below:
Microsoft and developer Asobo Studio have previously confirmed that the PS VR2 update for Flight Sim will support over 125 different aircrafts, each with their own “unique experience” in virtual reality. This includes things like traditional planes and helicopters, all the way to fighter jets and other large-scale aircrafts.
The update is something fans of the game on PlayStation have been waiting for for some time. While the original game itself is a visual marvel, fans have long been hoping to be able to step into the cockpit of some planes in first-person POV, and now they can. The update for the game should be available now across both the PS5 and PS5 Pro versions of the game.
