The PS Store continues to stealth-drop free PS5 games, the latest batch of which is intriguing enough that we recommend checking it out. One of the new games — which got a spot on PlayStation’s YouTube channel — is an “app” of sorts based on a JRPG.
PS5 players can download two free games from the PS Store right now
The aforementioned “app” is “Shujinkou Manga Reader,” which turns 2025 JRPG Shujinkou’s story into a readable manga. It’s weird and interesting at the same time, and also free.
“Set in a world divided into six distinct nations, Shujinkou follows Shu, Jin, Kou, and their companions as they face intelligent, language-devouring Akuma (demons) and the dangers hidden throughout each land,” an overview reads. “This app includes a One-Shot manga that explores a mission connected to the events of the game and what happens after the battle.”
The other PS Store freebie is deckbuilding roguelite “Bag Fight.” “Build a backpack full of weapons, armor, and healing items, carefully arranging your gear to create a setup that can carry you through battle after battle,” a description reads.
Bag Fight’s PS5 launch follows other platforms.
Shujinkou Manga Reader doesn’t come with trophies, but Bag Fight features 26 trophies, including Platinum. The game is also available on PS4.
