A highly anticipated PS5 action RPG has finally arrived on the PS Store, and it’s already wooing players. Developed by former The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 devs at Rebel Wolves, The Blood of Dawnwalker is available for $69.99. Its premium Eclipse Edition costs $79.99.
PS5 RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker releases to critical acclaim
Published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, The Blood of Dawnwalker received rave reviews from critics earlier this week. On Metacritic, the game’s PS5 version settled for 83/100.
Initial player response suggests that The Blood of Dawnwalker’s praise is universal. On the PS Store, the game has already earned 4.74/5 Stars based on over 1,000 verified votes.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is set in 14th-century Europe. Players assume the role of Coen, a “dawnwalker” with human and vampire qualities.
“Vampires seize their opportunity to walk out of the shadows and claim what they’ve been denied for centuries: freedom and the power that comes with it,” an official overview reads. “Fight for your humanity or embrace the cursed powers to save your family.
