For those of you considering picking up Konami’s latest foray into the music gaming genre, Def Jam Rapstar, now would be the time to do it, because those who snag the game between October 12th and 19th at Best Buy will be treated to a lil’ something extra.

Like Lil’ Wayne? Well, it doesn’t matter. If you’re planning on grabbing Def Jam Rapstar at Best Buy during the aforementioned promotion period, you’ll not only receive the game/microphone bundle, but a copy of Lil’ Wayne’s newest album I Am Not a Human Being as well. Kevin Liles, President and CEO, Def Jam Enterprises commented on the inclusion of the album.

“The opportunity to partner our new video game, Def Jam Rapstar with Lil Wayne’s new album, ‘I Am Not A Human Being’ is a historic moment for gaming, music and hip hop. When we approached Lil Wayne’s management team, Gee Roberson of Hip Hop Since 1978 and Cortez Bryant of Bryant Management, to partner with us, we all knew this would be another opportunity to super-serve hip hop fans across the country. Special thanks to my good friends Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams and Ronald ‘Slim’ Williams of Cash Money Records; Together, once again, we made history.”

Whether or not you’re a fan, it’s always nice to see bonuses thrown in. And if you’re not a fan, since the album is rising in popularity, go ahead and sell it, then put those funds towards your Gran Turismo 5 pre-order! For all the latest bonuses and goodies in gaming, be sure to stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle!
