Just in case you thought that we didn’t have near enough Dynasty Warriors games to play, Tecmo Koei has announced Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends will be releasing this year in North America and Europe as a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
Xtreme Legends is a stand-alone expansion that looks to boost Dynasty Warriors 7 with plenty of new content. This expansion will feature new characters, secret weapons to be unlocked, Japanese voice options, and a couple of new modes detailed below.
- Legend Mode: This mode will let players take on missions from past Dynasty Warriors games as well as brand new scenarios with your favorite DW character. Players will also get to have their town prosper and employee a lieutenant of their choose, who will help the town in different ways depending on who you choose.
- Challenge Mode: In this mode players can take on various missions, which are tracked online with a full leaderboard, giving you the chance to be number 1 in a given mission.
- Mixjoy: If you have the original disc for Dynasty Warriors 7, this mode will allow you to experience a beefier version of the story and conquest mode from DW7.
Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends will release on November 15th in North America, and November 18th in Europe.
