FIFA 12 has finally been dethroned after sitting atop the UK sales charts for several weeks in a row. In its place is Square Enix’s latest installment of their popular role-playing franchise, Final Fantasy XIII-2. Trailing close behind is Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, as DICE’s Battlefield 3 climbs up to third.
EA Sports’ FIFA 12 has slipped from first to fourth, with the recently released Soul Calibur V nipping at its heels.
Be sure to check out the full top 10 list below:
- Final Fantasy XIII-2
- Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
- Battlefield 3
- FIFA 12
- Soul Calibur 5
- Assassin’s Creed: Revelations
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
- The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
- Just Dance 3
- Saints Row: The Third
Resident Evil Revelations which was holding strong in sixth place last week slipped off of the top 10 entirely – one would think that the recent announcement of Resident Evil 6 would be enough to motivate more gamers to pick up the 3DS title from Capcom. Then again, maybe gamers are saving their pennies for a PlayStation Vita.
