Ada Wong to Serve as a Playable Character Unlock in Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil veterans will be pleased to know that Ada Wong will in fact be a playable character in Capcom’s upcoming sixth installment in their popular horror franchise.

Rumors reporting the possibility surfaced last month, and now we’ve received confirmation thanks to the latest issue of Famitsu (via Siliconera). As previously confirmed, Resident Evil 6 will have players experiencing the game’s story from three different perspectives by playing as Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy and Jake Mueller.

However, once they’ve completed the campaigns of all three, they’ll be able to unlock Ada’s story. This character’s path will be a completely solo experience and likely complement the events that have already transpired during the three prior playthroughs. Ada will be equipped with both a crossbow and time bombs, adding a nice slice of variety to the experience.

Resident Evil 6 is set to release on October 2nd and believe it or not, that day will be here before you know it. As such, be sure to say tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for all the latest juicy details on RE6 as we near its launch.
