Sony Santa Monica Studio’s lead game designer, and all around fighting game guru, Seth Killian, has taken to the PS Blog to announce the first two DLC characters for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Early next year you’ll be able to download Gravity Rush‘s high flying heroine Kat, along with Starhawk‘s build ‘n battlin Emmett Graves. The combatants will be available completely free of charge for two weeks.
Kat and Emmett both appear to be bringing very unique gameplay to All-Stars. Seth Killian describes Emmett Graves as a gun focused character, who can utilize Starhawk’s “Build-in-Battle” system, to bring help down from the sky. Seth Killian has an equally unique description of Kat’s talents:
Kat’s approach turns gravity on its head with some mind-bending new ways to move as she positions herself for her unique brand of aerial assault.
