After winning most of the awards at various other ceremonies, Journey continued its dominance over all other 2012 games by taking home six different trophies at the Game Developers Choice Awards last night.
Not to be forgotten, The Walking Dead took home Best Narrative and Dishonored won the Audience Choice Award, but it was mostly about Journey:

- Innovation Award – Journey (thatgamecompany)

- Audience Choice Award – Dishonored (Arkane Studios)
- Best Narrative – The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)
- Best Technology – Far Cry 3 (Ubisoft)
- Ambassador Award – Chris Melissinos
- Best Handheld/Mobile Game – The Room (Fireproof Studios)
- Pioneer Award – Steve Russell
- Best Debut – FTL: Faster Than Light (Subset Games)
- Lifetime Achievement Award – Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk
