Everyone loves a good firmware update. This is not a good firmware update – it’s not a bad one either, just that it doesn’t really do anything. PS3 firmware update v4.41 is set to release later today, with no major changes.
Sony announced on Twitter:
PS3 software update v4.41 is coming today, it’s a minor update that will improve system stability.
The improvements in system stability were not detailed, and could well include security improvements as Sony continues to try to make the PS3 harder to hack.
