As clearly evidenced by our job titles in Ask PSLS, we have a sense of humor. But we know where to draw the line when it comes to poking fun or criticizing certain topics, especially when involving the PlayStation Vita. It’s just something we wouldn’t do.

So, while we did get a bit of a chuckle out of what the NamcoBandai GamesEU (its legitimacy is confirmed by the verified Twitter account linking to it) YouTube account said of the PlayStation Vita, it did seem in pretty bad taste.

To set the stage, the account uploaded a video for Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!, a game coming out this year on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS. In the comments, a user simply said, “Not PS Vita :( Bad Namco.” Surprisingly, the Namco account replied to this by saying:

Yeah bad Namco

Who has a PS vita by the way? Oh wait I DON’T KNOW!

Obviously they were just trying to make a joke involving the game’s title, but it seems a lot of people didn’t enjoy the remark, with it being flagged as spam, and receiving a bunch of replies.

Looking at some of Namco Bandai’s upcoming releases in the west, you have Adventure Time, which is coming to the PS3, 360, Wii U, and 3DS, but not PlayStation Vita. Then there’s Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, which is coming to the PS3, 360, Wii U, and 3DS, but not PlayStation Vita. And there’s also One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, which was released in Japan on PS3 and PlayStation Vita, but will only release on PlayStation 3 when it comes out this August.

What do you think of the Namco comment? Did you find it funny? Let us know in the comments below.
