Future PS Vita Firmware Update Will Allow PS Vita to PS3 Wi-Fi Transfer, “No Date As Yet”

With firmware update version 4.50 now available for the PS3, allowing for Wi-Fi transfer to the PlayStation Vita, Shuhei Yoshida was asked if a PS Vita update was needed in order to make PS Vita to PS3 Wi-Fi transfers possible (you can currently do it with your computer).

Thanks to the character limit on Twitter, Shuhei gave a very short answer out:

You are right, a future PS Vita update is needed, no date as yet. pls stand by.

Shuhei also talked about how “no one knows” the release date of the 64GB memory card in the UK, the PS4 can’t read tri-quad layer blu-ray discs and, in case you haven’t heard yet, up to four profiles can be opened on a PS4 at once.

Would you use the PS Vita to PS3 Wi-Fi transfer? Let us know in the comments below.
