Major Nelson, aka Microsoft’s Larry Hryb, has never shied away from congratulating PlayStation on their success, or from touting Xbox sales numbers when the Xbox One or Xbox 360 comes out on top.
Following the December 2013 NPD sales results report yesterday, Hryb posted this on his Reddit account, talking about the PS4 and Xbox One’s early success, and how negative comments about the gaming industry need to go away:
Both new platforms are off to a great start. We all should be celebrating a healthy vibrant industry. Sony has done a good job and they should be commended. The hate that infects gaming in the online space needs to go away.
He then later added, “Sony will sell a ton. We will sell a ton. The industry is doing well… and consumers have choice.”
