PSLSSA: PSN Maintenance Started Early, Ends at 3:30PM PT/6:30 PM ET; PS4 Share & More Affected

Rather than starting at the scheduled time of 9:30AM PT/12:30PM ET, the PlayStation Network maintenance started at 8:30AM PT/11:30AM ET earlier today. There doesn’t seem to be any delays for the end time though, with the official PlayStation website saying we can expect it to be over at “around” 3:30PM PT/6:30 ET.

If you happened to sign in to your PSN account over the last five days, you “may” be able to play games online and use apps such as Netflix, HULU Plus, and more. Other features like accessing the PlayStation Store, Account Management, Account Registration, and entertainment services won’t work during the maintenance for anyone.

Also, specifically for PS4 owners, you won’t be able to view the What’s New, Live, and Library areas, with Share functionality being impacted by the maintenance as well.

What are you doing during the maintenance? Do you think this has something do with PS Now (which is having a beta before the end of January)? Let us know in the comments below.
