Discovered by Tech Raptor, Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita is no longer available for purchase on Steam or the North American PlayStation Store (it’s still up in Europe though).

Publisher Devolver Digital revealed in a statement that the distribution agreement for Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition has ended, prompting the removal:

Devolver Digital’s distribution agreement for Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition has ended and the game is no longer for sale. All current owners get to keep the game, but the title will no longer be available for purchase through the PlayStation Network, Steam, Humble Store and other authorized digital distributors and Steam key vendors.

Gearbox has now taken over publishing rights, and they said, “As for when fans can expect to see Duke Nukem 3D back as a digital sale, we have plans to bring the game back this year.”

Oddly, Devolver Digital tweeted at the end of December 2015 that Duke Nukem 3D would remain on Steam and PlayStation Store even after the distribution deal ended on December 31, 2015.

So, if you purchased Duke Nukem 3D, or grabbed it while it was a PlayStation Plus free game in January 2015, you’ll still be able to re-download it from your Download List.
