While we all know that Psyonix’s Rocket League has been a major success for the studio, no one would have ever guessed it’d be this successful. How? Try over-15-million-players-served successful, that’s how.
Over on Twitter, the official Rocket League account that in just 10 months, over 400 million games have been played!
Another great milestone! Thanks to all of you, we have now surpassed 15 million players worldwide! #BestCommunityEver

Another fun fact: on our road to 15 million players, you have competed in more than 400 million games in the last 10 months!

This is certainly good news. Who would have thought that a game that marries cars and soccer (footie for you fans) will attract more players than Call of Duty?? I know Rocket League has been a PS+ freebie for a month, is cheaper and whatnot, but even so, that’s an impressive figure.
Are you one of the millions of Rocket League players around the world? What can Psyonix do to reach 20 million?
