Report: GameFly Briefly Lists Original Darksiders for PS4, Xbox One and Wii U

Video game rental service, GameFly, apparently listed the original Darksiders for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U, suggesting that another Nordic Games remaster might be on its way. The company later took the links down but not before folks over at NeoGAF and several publications including Gematsu managed to take note.

Darksiders first released in 2010 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Its sequel, Darksiders II, came in 2012 and has already been remastered as the Deathinitive Edition for PS4 and Xbox One last October.

We’re treating this as a rumor because we’re not sure if it was just a GameFly blooper or not. Additionally, there’s no word from Nordic Games yet, which acquired the rights to the franchise following THQ’s bankruptcy. However, if the listing is anything to go by, we’re going to get the game on or around October 25.

What do our readers think of this?
