A little over five minutes of unofficial footage from Ace Combat 7‘s PlayStation VR mode has appeared online, thanks to YouTube user dovmxjqjsj (via Gematsu). The video above was shot the Bandai Namco Thank You Festival held in South Korea. Although it’s not of good quality, the footage gives you an idea of what to expect so check it out if you’re looking forward to the game.

Last December during Jump Festa, PlayStation LifeStyle spoke to the game’s Producer, Kazutoki Kono, and quizzed him about developing Ace Combat 7 for PSVR. Kono told us that the device brings “a lot of new challenges” for the team but he’s “very excited” to develop for the platform.

“Users can experience what it’s like to be inside the real cockpit,” he explained. “They will need to think about how to take down enemies while looking behind them, and react on the fly.”
