Virry VR for PSVR Now Available, Launch Trailer Released

Yesterday, Sony released a Brand New Experiences trailer for its PlayStation VR headset showing just some of the new experiences coming to the platform. Today, one of those new experiences, Virry VR, is finally launching in the US and Sony has released a launch trailer to celebrate the occasion.

First released on the EU PS Store last March, Virry VR is a virtual safari created for the PSVR platform. Made by Fountain Digital Labs Ltd in partnership with the Lewa game reserve in Africa, Virry VR lets users get up close and personal with real animals in 4K VR.

Here are the three ways users can experience the African savannah in Virry VR:

– Live-Action Interactive Experiences. Shake your controller to tempt a lion with meat, feed an elephant, stalk a zebra, or share a mud bath with a rhino.

– Immersive Relaxation Experiences. Not ready to mingle with monkeys? Revel in the beauty of an African river. Calming sounds and sights will transport you to a new happy place.

– Live-streaming Experiences. HD cameras installed at Lewa Conservancy in Kenya capture real animals as they live and play, 24/7.

Virry VR is now available on the PS Store for $9.99.
