Final Fantasy XII PS4 vs PS2 Comparison Videos Show off the Remaster’s Improvements

With Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age launching tomorrow for PlayStation 4, Digital Foundry and IGN have uploaded PS4 vs PS2 comparison videos, letting you see how the game has changed since the initial release.

In their analysis of Final Fantasy XII for PS4, Digital Foundry reveals that it runs at a near-locked 30 frames-per-second on both PS4 and PS4 Pro. In terms of resolution, you can expect 1080p on PS4 and 1440p on PS4 Pro.

According to players, the digital version of Final Fantasy XII is just over 40GB, and there’s a day one update that appears to address a few minor bugs.

The Trophy list for The Zodiac Age was revealed earlier this year.

You can read our review of The Zodiac Age over here, where we said, “Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is undoubtedly a remaster worth playing for both newcomers and fans of the original.”
