The Kojima NEXT site updated late last night. No, the timer did not reach zero yet…but it is very close. The rain did in fact go away though, and now there’s sunlight shining through the parted clouds.
There is also either a ‘B’ or an ‘8’ that flashes on the screen every few seconds. This approach is indeed odd, but I believe Kojima is achieving what he wanted to in creating this countdown of a countdown of an announcement.
