Every Thursday, the PSN is updated with the latest demos, add-ons, and trailers. What if I told you by downloading the Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo, that you’d be doing more than just making Capcom excited about their potential sales, but also help out the refugees in Haiti? Interested? Read on to find out how you can help.

Capcom has launched the “Kill Big for Charity” program for Lost Planet 2, which started on March 31st for early those who have early access to the LP2 multiplayer demo and continues to May 5th. Once a million gamers have downloaded the demo across the PS3 and 360 combined, Capcom will donate $20,000 to the ‘Music for Relief’ foundation. If the demo is downloaded 1.5 million times, an additional $5,000 will be added to the pot.

If you’re interested in obtaining early access to the multiplayer demo, please the Lost Planet Community page to gain access.  Once the demo hits the PSN, we will let youknow ASAP so that you can get your ‘Kill Big for Charity’ on!

Capcom’s Lost Planet 2 looks to unleash the Akrid and big guns on May 11.
