Time Crisis May be Shooting up The PSN

The original Time Crisis released on PlayStation One in 1997. The series has noticeably been missing from next-gen consoles aside from the abysmal last installment in the franchise being Time Crisis 4, which made its debut on the PlayStation 3 in 2007. According to some new evidence, a new Time Crisis title may be shooting up the PlayStation Network.

A new trademark spotted by SuperAnnuation could indicate towards a new Time Crisis re-release or a whole new game with HD graphics. Time Crisis 4 didn’t exactly receive a warm reception amongst both fans and critics, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if we see the classical arcade shooter return to rectify the mistakes of the 2007 release disaster.

“Downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices” hints that the Namco classic could make its way onto the PlayStation Network. With another PSN title, Planet MiniGolf to utilize PlayStation Move, it’s certainly not out of the picture to believe Time Crisis could function well with the motion controller, especially considering Time Crisis 4 used the GunCon 3 controller.

Treat this as a rumor for the meanwhile, and stick with PlayStation LifeStyle for anymore updates on Time Crisis.
