Ghost Recon: Future Soldier May Be 3D/Move-Enabled

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the next installment in the Ghost Recon series of games, is still deep in development. With the advent of newer technologies such as 3D and Move, it would make sense for Ubisoft to embrace the coming trends…Right?

As evident over at gamerzines.com, Ubisoft is at least trying to implement these new technologies. International Project Manager Aziz Khater stated this with regard to the project’s 3D status:

“It’s running in 3D, we can’t show it right now but obviously we are working on it. We are taking a look at those technologies but right now I can’t tell you for sure if it will be available or not.”

So while the game may already be running in 3D, whether or not that is ultimately conducive of a more immersive experience is still up in the air. But of course to calm any fears that the game was delayed just to include new tech, Khater also added:

“We delayed it to give a very solid product to the consumer, and we really wanted to come with the most advanced game that we have. It’s been three years that we’ve been developing it and we don’t want to rush in the last five or six months. We really want to give all the guys waiting for this game value for money.”

Do you believe Khater? What would you think of a 3D or Move (or both!)-enabled Ghost Recon? Shout out below!
