Dreamcast Classics Returning on PSN

October 20, 2010Written by Allen Tyson

When Sega opened a full site for it’s Dreamcast Reprint Project, we knew it was just a matter a of time before the floodgates of classics started to open. Sega has just made it clear that the additions of Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventures are only the beginning.Today, Sega announced two more titles getting the digital re-mastering treatment: Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Sega Bass Fishing. The fact that the Dreamcast library is opening up gives us hope. Hopefully it won’t be long before we get titles like Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of The Future or a long overdue PSN release of Ikaruga.

If you’re wondering why Space Channel 5 Part 2 and not Part 1 was released, the fact that Space Michael was voiced by the late King of Pop himself could be a reason. To get us ready, Sega has provided some images for our perusal.

Expect both titles to arrive in early 2011.
