It’s been nearly eight years since Capcom released a title in the world’s favorite dinosaur video game, Dino Crisis. The first two titles in the series were beloved for their intense moments, and accumulated successful sales numbers over the years following their releases. The first installment of the series, Dino Crisis, is already available on the PSN, but now the millions of gamers who have never experienced the continuation will have a shot.

The ESRB has approved Dino Crisis 2 for a North American PlayStation 3 launch with another Mature rating. No official announcement has been made, but if history repeats itself the title should hit the PSN within the next couple of months.

Dino Crisis 3 was considered a major disappointment for many, but gamers worldwide have been itching for a fourth installment. If you’ve played one or more of the Dino Crisis games, would you like to see a current generation release, or perhaps even a remake? Let us know in the comments below.
