Dead Block, the upcoming zombie defense game from developer Candygun Games, will be releasing next month on the PlayStation Network and XBLA. Unfortunately for PlayStation 3 owners, the version on the PSN won’t release until July 19th, a full two weeks after the XBLA version.
In Dead Block, the world has been devastated by the birth of rock-n-roll and this music genre caused a zombie apocalypse where the dead have now become the walking dead. As one of only three survivors, players will need to fortify whatever area they are in; boarding up windows, settings up traps, or going toe to toe with the oncoming zombie hoards. The game will feature plenty of items, power-ups, and the ability to upgrade a variety of weapons.
To celebrate the announcement of a release date, Candygun Games have released a new Zombie Elimination trailer, which you can see below.
Dead Block will be releasing for the low price of $9.99 and will hit the PSN on July 19th.
