Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been a long time coming. First announced back in 2007, the game has slowly and steadily built up plenty of hype, with its release date next month highly anticipated by its eager fans. In the midst of the San Diego Comic-Con, publisher Square Enix has released a new trailer for the game, and it consists of live-action drama played out in a believable fashion.
In the trailer, we are given a glimpse into the world which protagonist Adam Jensen lives. Augmentation is the new hot topic of the day, much like any other hot button issue we hear about all the time on the news today. This particular video is created by those against human augmentation, who believe that staying as a “pure” human is the best course of action. It plays out like a real-life propaganda commercial, and is entirely live-action. Which side would you pick in this intriguing predicament? Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is scheduled for a release date of August 23th, 25th, and 26th in North America, Australia and Europe respectively, and September 8th in Japan.
