EA have contacted us with a statement regarding any Battlelog problems:
EA WW Customer Experience is available any time of day to provide an immediate solution to any Battlefield 3 players on PSN that are experiencing log-in difficulties with Battlelog.
Costing £10/€15 more than a retail copy, the PSN downloadable version of Battlefield 3 has little going for it as it is, but now the publisher has revealed that players using the digital copy can’t sign into the new social service Battlelog.
Online Support Co-ordinator for the PlayStation Community, RabidWalker commented on the EU forums:
EA have confirmed that there are issues with the digital build of Battlefield 3 (on the PS Store) which will be affecting people trying sign into Battlelog.
They are currently working on a patch for this, although no ETA has been given at the moment.
Will update when more information becomes available.
The digital version of BF3 isn’t currently available in the US, but the poor European pricing does make you wonder how many people bought the game for a higher price than the limited edition.
