Capcom’s Vancouver branch is believed to be working on a brand-new IP, if recent job sightings are to be believed. You may recall that the studio – formerly known as Blue Castle Games – signed on with Capcom back in October to become the publisher’s Canadian-based developer.
While the team is responsible for the popular Dead Rising 2, it looks like something completely new may be in the cooker. According to a job post on Gamasutra, the team has “two new AAA titles currently in development.” Considering that a third Dead Rising is practically a given, it’s fair to assume that their other title will be something new.
An additional listing at CreativeHeads further hints at the possibility of a new IP, pointing out the fact that it will be a third-person action game:
