Last week, Sega released a teaser trailer for what appeared to be a PlayStation Network and Xbox Live version of Jet Grind Radio (also known as Jet Set Radio). Sega has confirmed that the classic game is coming to those services.
Sega has announced that Jet Set Radio will be coming to PSN, Xbox Live, and Windows PC digital download this summer. The digital re-release will be “an upgraded HD version” of the classic game, which originally released on the Sega Dreamcast to critical acclaim.
Sega also announced a contest in the US and UK that will allow entrants the chance to have their art be part of the eighteen included pieces of fan graffiti in the game’s release. Winners will receive a Jet Set Radio Prize Pack, which includes two digital copies of the game for PS3 or Xbox 360, a Jet Set Radio branded hoodie, a Jet Set Radio branded beverage shaker, and the Etón Rukus Solar – Portable Blue Tooth Sound System with Solar Panel.
