Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time Is Coming Soon To PSN, Has Move Support & New Features

Stickmen Studios have announced that Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time is “coming soon” to PlayStation Network for PS3.

On the PS Blog, Stickmen Studios’ Head of Projects Henry Lane has announced that Doc Clock will be headed to the PlayStation Store for “everyone” soon. The game’s story is that of eponymous hero Doc Clock, who accidentally turned his cat Franklin into a cactus while trying to make the world’s most awesome toasted sandwich machine. Doc Clock tries to go back in time to prevent the incident from happening, but instead travels thousands of years into the future, where technology-loathing hippy robots rule the world and blame humanity for the deterioration of Earth. Doc must now collect all of the pieces of his time machine and return to his proper time.

Doc Clock is a 2D puzzle game where Doc collects items along the way that can be combined with other items to construct inventions and help him overcome obstacles and cross gaps. Players can rewind time to undo actions or errors they’ve made in the game. On a side note, while playing through the game, Doc will be insulted by his sarcastic robot companion, SACK.

Exclusive to the PSN release are the following features: new abilities (like lifting items while in the time machine), a new sandbox level as a reward for completing the game, and PlayStation Move support.

Doc Clock was previously released on platforms such as Steam, OnLive, and WiiWare.
